Healthy Active Lifestyles Onkaparinga (HALO) program assists the community to take part in sport and recreation and to lead healthy lifestyles.

HALO achieves this through a combination of direct delivery, industry and internal partnerships, marketing and funding support.

Each year HALO enables over 20,000 activations (incidents of physical activity) in sport and active recreation.

Six-Week Step Challenge

To provide information information the community regarding the City of Onkaparinga Six-Week Step Challenge

OUTFIT Onkaparinga

FREE group exercise sessions with a personal trainer, providing an introduction on how to exercise outdoors safely and effectively

Move It

Move It is a new regional partnership program between the Cities of Marion, Onkaparinga and Holdfast Bay created to help our local communities discover new places, spaces and ways to 'move it', locally.

Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation

The Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation (RRSF) is collaborating with the City of Onkaparinga to provide free sport and recreation programs for the local community.

Heritage walks

Heritage walks are small groups guided history leisure walks

Parkrun

Parkrun, a weekly 5km timed community group run or walk. Co-ordinated by volunteers, it's open to everyone and is FREE to participate.

Magical Park

Using a mobile device and the Magical Park app, a park can be transformed into an interactive, fun and physical digital world for children and families to explore.

Smart Playground Adventures @ Thalassa Park

Using a mobile device and the Biba App the playground can be transformed into fun obstacle courses, treasure hunts and team challenges, with children able to climb, jump and swing their way through an exciting make-believe adventure!
