Overview

We provide immunisation clinics for our residents, and on behalf of Alexandrina and Marion councils.

2025 SA Funded Measles Vaccination Program

The SA Funded Measles Vaccination Program has now been expanded due to increased cases across Australia.

The recommendation for best protection is 2 doses of a measles vaccine (MMR) for the following groups-

• all adults born during or after 1966 who have no evidence of receiving two measles vaccines previously.
• children 6 months to 11 months of age travelling overseas.

This expanded program is in addition to the measles vaccines given on the South Australian Immunisation Schedule,

If you fit the above eligibility, you can receive these vaccines at any of the clinics run by the City of Onkaparinga for a service fee of $20.00 .

2025 Influenza vaccines

Due to an ongoing Severe flu season the flu vaccine is still available at all City of Onkaparinga run clinics.

Check your Eligibility for government funded vaccines.

Bookings are preferred to ensure vaccine availability.  Bookings will be prioritised and if clinic is at capacity, drop-in appointments may be required to book and attend another clinic of their convenience.

When completing the online booking form, the appointment must be made in the name of the person being vaccinated and not the caregiver.

IMPORTANT: If your child has missed multiple scheduled vaccinations, a catch-up plan may need to be developed in advance. Please contact the immunisation team prior to booking an appointment on (08) 8384 0666 or immunisation@onkaparinga.sa.gov.au

Clinic calendar

New Arrival and Refugee (NARI) clinics

The City of Marion runs "NARI" clinics which provide immunisation for people who are refugees or who are newly arrived to Australia.

The clinics are held once per month at the Mitchell Park Neighbourhood Centre, providing a great link to our neighbourhood centres with people who are new to our community. Bookings are by referral. Interpreters can be arranged for people accessing the clinics.

Mitchell Park Neighbourhood Centre is located at 1 Cumbria Court, Mitchell Park.

Onkaparinga clinics

All clinics will be closed over the Christmas period (Noarlunga and Aldinga clinics are not open in the school holidays).

Monthly immunisation clinics are also offered by our immunisation team in Alexandrina and Marion locations (below). 

Alexandrina clinics

The City of Onkaparinga provide the immunisation service on behalf of Alexandrina Council.  

Clinics are held monthly, on the 3rd  Wednesday of the month. 

Marion clinics

The City of Onkaparinga provide the immunisation service on behalf of Marion Council.
