The production, sales or consumption of alcohol to the public, generally requires a liquor licence from Consumer and Business Services (CBS), the state government agency responsible for liquor licensing. For example:
Prior to applying for a liquor licence, a development application may need to be lodged on the state government PlanSA website if you intend to do any of the above.

Once an application is received, the assessment may take up to 20 business days to be processed. Please note that council may contact the applicant for further information and may extend the assessment timeframe.
An email of the outcome of your liquor licence application will be sent to the email address provided in the form. Please note that lodging the liquor licence application form is not council consent.
