Vote for your favourite photo in the People’s Choice Award

Tap the yellow ‘Vote now’ button to view the 11 finalist photographs and complete the online form to vote for your favourite image.

The competition judging panel will select the four category prize winners. The People’s Choice Award is separate and is decided by public vote.

The photograph with the most public votes will receive the People’s Choice Award. This provides community members with the chance to recognise their preferred finalist image.

The People’s Choice Award will be announced along with the four category prize winners at the Heritage Photography Competition Awards Ceremony on Sunday 25 October 2026.

Categories:

  1. Shops and dwellings
    Photos of local heritage listed shops and dwellings, visible from the street.
  2. Wineries and agricultural buildings
    Photos of local heritage listed wineries and agricultural buildings that are accessible to the public or visible from the street.
  3. Churches and halls
    Photos of local heritage listed churches and community halls within the council area.
  4. Young talent
    Photos of local heritage places in the council area, taken by young people under 18 years.  

Awards ceremony

The winners of the Heritage photography competition will be honoured at a ceremony on Sunday 25 October 2026.

The four category winners and People’s Choice Award recipient will each receive a $500 cash prize.

The winning photos will be showcased at the ceremony.
