Within South Australia, all development applications are lodged through the PlanSA portal. Creating an online account is required to be able to manage all future applications.
When creating your online account, ensure that all details are correct and up to date. If you already have an account, you can login and submit an application.
Development application fees
All development applications incur fees that must be paid for through the PlanSA portal. It is important to note that the assessment of a development application will not commence until all mandatory fees have been paid for.
Fees are established by a Ministerial fee notice published in the Government Gazette. Below is a simplified version:

Referral agency
The standard fee for most referrals is $447.00 with some variations to the Environment Protection Authority (EPA), Native Vegetation, SA Housing Authority and Technical Regulator.
