Transparency and accountability is central to good governance and proper decision making. The provision of information assists people to better understand our decisions and to hold Council staff and Elected Members to account for its actions.

Going forward, and through harnessing new ICT system capabilities, Council will continue to work to make more information available as we develop this portal, with a view to promoting greater public awareness and scrutiny of Council information, decision making, services and operations.
