Our Every Generation Onkaparinga (EGO) ‘Celebrating Positive Ageing’ program celebrates the outstanding achievements and valuable contributions people of all ages, cultures and abilities make to ‘positive ageing’ in our communities.

Every Generation Onkaparinga is guided by advice from a volunteer group to make sure it is useful, responsive, and relevant. This group helps plan and run the events and activities.

EGO supports the statewide Week of Ageing Well on 1-7 October. This is a time to connect with each other, celebrate life, value the older people in our lives, and discover new ways that can support us to age well.

Grants for these types of events and activities, previously known as the Every Generation Onkaparinga Grants, will in future be available through the ‘Positive Ageing Events’ category within our broader Community Events Grants program.
