Collections on public holidays

Bins are collected on all public holidays except for Christmas and New Year's Day.

As Christmas Day and New Year’s Day fall on a Wednesdays this year, collections will occur a day later than usual collection days:

  • Monday collections (23 Dec / 30 Dec) will occur as normal.
  • Tuesday collections (24 Dec / 31 Dec) will occur as normal.
  • Wednesday collections (25 Dec / 1 Jan) will occur on Thursday (26 Dec / 2 Jan)
  • Thursday collections (26 Dec / 2 Jan) will occur on Friday (27 Dec / 3 Jan)
  • Friday collections (27 Dec / 3 Jan) will occur on Saturday (28 Dec / 4 Jan)

Remember to put your bin out the night before collection day. Our drivers may start earlier than usual at 5.30am during the hot summer weather.

How to use the map

To search for your bin collection days, open the interactive map by clicking on the image below.

Then there are two ways you can search:

  1. zoom in to find your house
  2. use the search button (top right corner) to type in your address.

You must CLICK on your property to view collection details.

Collection details will open in a panel on the left. From there, you can download and print the collection days specific to your property.

Collect in person

Visit a council office or library and we will print a waste calendar for you.
