Australia Day Awards

The City of Onkaparinga Australia Day Awards recognise our unsung heroes who make a difference to the community.

Every Generation Onkaparinga Awards 2024

Ray Gilbert Awards for Excellence

Recognising those who have made a significant contribution to our City.

Freedom of the City

The granting of Freedom of the City is a privilege extended to a military unit that has a significant attachment to the City of Onkaparinga

History and Heritage Awards

Our History and Heritage Awards recognise positive contributions in the promotion, conservation or understanding of the region’s European history and built heritage.

Key to the City

The Key to the City recognises exceptional, outstanding achievement and is Council’s most prestigious award.

Mayor's Garden Competition

The Mayor's Garden Competition recognises local gardeners and encourages community interest in local gardens which enhance the presentation and liveability of our city.

Youth Recognition Awards

Annually the Onkaparinga Youth Committee deliver the Youth Recognition Awards, where young people are recognised, celebrated and honoured for their outstanding actions in improving their communities, self and securing their futures.
