Do you want to embellish and celebrate your family photos and history? Join us and learn how scrapbooking can help you display your family history research and celebrate family, both present and past.

During this session, ideas for family history scrapbooks will be discussed, including themes and methods for recording your immediate and distant family. Participants will be able to craft and take home one scrapbook page (12 x 12 inch page), using scrapbooking materials and ideas from the session.

For this event, consider bringing things like:

• A few select photos that you would like to use - consider bringing photocopies or printed versions of an original, as you may not want to cut up or stick original photos of value or sentimentality.
• Some basic notes or information on a family member, ancestor or generally from family history research.
• A starting idea or plan for why you want to make a family history scrapbook (is it a gift for someone else or just a personal project?)

For those who don't want to bring anything to the session, you will still be able to have a go making a scrapbooking page, using example photos.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the event start time.

This event is designed with adults and young adults in mind and is recommended for 16+

Limited free parking is avaliable nearby.
