Memory Hub
The Memory Hub is for those affected by dementia and memory loss, their carers, family, friends, and anyone in the community who may be looking for information, support and resources on any dementia related condition. Located at Noarlunga and Seaford libraries, it was developed in conjunction with the Southern Services Reform Group, Alzheimer's Australia SA and City of Onkaparinga Libraries and is the first of its kind in Australia.
What resources are available?
- Books on topics such as memory loss prevention, understanding, coping and caring, as well as books for brain training and memory exercises
- DVDs offering general information and activities for dementia and memory loss
- Activity and reminiscence kits including CDs, DVDs and a variety of activities, puzzles and books designed to keep the mind active.
- Information sheets and brochures from support agencies and organisations providing information on support, assistance available as well as other related health information
