Cricut Club

Learn how to use Cricut Machines in fun and collaborative workshops, exploring a different technique each session. Beginners welcome!

  • Get Crafty:  Wednesdays every 2nd month from 10am-12pm. Meet other crafters, find some craftspiration and enjoy a new fun project. Materials and equipment provided. Bookings become available on Eventbrite 3-5 weeks before each session.

  • The Knit Wits: First and third Thursday of the month 10am-12pm. Come along for a relaxing chat while you knit items for various charitable causes. BYO wool and knitting supplies. Any wool donations will be greatly appreciated.
  • Hooked on Crochet: Fridays 10am-12pm. Come along for a relaxing chat while you crochet. BYO wool and supplies
  • Craft ‘N’ Stitch: Sundays fortnightly 1.30-3.30pm. Work on your craft, cross stitch or needlework while relaxing and socialising. BYO materials and supplies. 

Reading cafe

Join us for a relaxed afternoon of book chatter! Bring along your current read/s and share what you like, love or loathe about it in a safe, relaxed and friendly environment.

Book Clubs

Book clubs are a popular way for book lovers to share the enjoyment of reading. Our libraries support a wide range of independent book clubs each month.

If you would like to form your own book club, please read the Book Club Information Sheet(PDF, 39KB) and then complete the Book Club Registration Form(PDF, 47KB). Forms can be returned to your local library or emailed to bookclubs@onkaparinga.sa.gov.au

Get Online Week

Get Online Week is a national campaign that usually runs for a week in October. It supports people to feel safer and more confident online so no one is left behind. Our libraries run programs to help close the 'digital divide' and assist people to gain knowledge and learn new skills.

Get Online Week 2025 dates are yet to be announced.


Seed Social

The Community Seed Packing Socials are fun sessions where you can enjoy a warm drink, share gardening stories, and make new connected with like-minded enthusiasts. Plus, you'll get first access to fresh seed varieties for the season (limit 2 packets per person). Brought to you in collaboration with Sustainable Onkaparinga and the Woodcroft-Morphett Vale Neighbourhood Centre.

  • First Friday of the month 10am - 11.30am

Please note: Every 3 months, the gardeners will be offering a tour of the community garden at 10am, followed by seed packing at 11am.
