Sleep matters

NEW workshop – Sleep rest and recovery

Many older people find it harder to fall asleep, stay asleep or wake up feeling ready for the day. Sleep affects memory, mood, energy and muscle repair, so even small improvements can make a real difference.

Short movement breaks, calm breathing, brief mental pauses and small social moments can help your body and brain reset.

This workshop explains why sleep changes with age and shares simple habits to support your sleep, energy levels, and overall wellbeing.

The next workshop is at Woodcroft Library on Friday 27 March 2026 as part of their Ageing Well talks and workshops that support healthy, confident ageing.
