The beginning of a rewarding career in a purpose driven organisation

The City of Onkaparinga is excited to launch its first Graduate Program, designed to attract emerging talent and build a pipeline of future leaders in local government. This pilot program focuses on the corporate team and will run for two years, giving graduates exposure to multiple functions within the organisation.

We want applications from tenacious graduates who can relate to our organisational values of Customer Focus, Safety, Accountability, Collaboration, Integrity, and Respect. Join us and make an impact to our city!

Why our Graduate Program?

The City of Onkaparinga is offering a program that provides graduates hands on experience, professional development and fast tracks knowledge and network building.

  • Graduate support and wellbeing: Each graduate will be connected with a mentor and buddy system. We will create opportunities for our Graduates to get together, share their experiences and support each other on this journey. As employees, all Graduates can access our wellbeing program offerings including free health checks, and access to confidential counselling and mental health support.
  • Graduate development: A comprehensive development plan has been designed to support graduates as they transition from campus to corporate. This program offers a balanced mix of online and face-to-face learning opportunities, tailored to build essential skills and confidence in the workplace.
