Sustainability rebates and subsidies

Sustainability rebates are still open for applications for our reusable categories: cloth nappies and reusable sanitary products.  Eligible applications will be assessed on a first come first served basis until the funding pool for each category is fully expended.  

Funds for the following categories have already been fully expended for the 2025-26 financial year: dark to light roof, insulation, rainwater tank, EV charging, indigenous plants, gas to electric appliances, energy assessment, double glazing, ebike and cargo bike, initial significant/regulated tree assessment. Rebates are expected to reopen in July 2026 for the 2026–27 financial year. Rebate categories and funding amounts will be confirmed closer to this time.

Residents can also purchase subsidised bin latches and home composting systems.
