Join us for a special guest presentation on the what, how and why of Artificial Intelligence!
AI 101: Understanding the Basics is an introductory, plain‑language session designed to help people understand what artificial intelligence is, how it works, and why it matters in everyday life. The presentation demystifies AI by explaining key concepts like data, machine learning, and pattern recognition, highlights common myths and limitations, and shows where AI is already used - from search engines and streaming services to libraries, education, and healthcare. It also encourages critical thinking about ethics, bias, privacy, and responsible use, positioning AI literacy as an essential skill for confident, informed participation in today’s digital world.
This workshop is supported through a Good Things Foundation Australia Grant.
