General Conditions of entry

Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre staff reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person not respecting the conditions of entry and associated Centre staff direction.

  • Visitors must follow all reasonable directions given by centre staff at all times
  • Abusive, disruptive or offensive behaviour or language will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the centre.
  • All children under 10 years of age must be actively supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
  • Appropriate, non-marking footwear must be worn on all courts and activity areas.
  • The centre is a smoke-free facility. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside or around the centre.
  • Entry will be refused to anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
  • Weapons, scooters, skateboards, bikes and other hazardous items are not permitted in the facility.
  • Emergency exits are to be used only in the case of an emergency.
  • Anyone attempting to gain access to the centre or its facilities without a valid booking or authorisation may be asked to leave and refused future entry.
  • Using the facilities involves inherent risks. You enter at your own risk, and Noarlunga Recreation Centre disclaims liability for injury, loss, or death, as permitted by law.
  • The Noarlunga Recreation Centre is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Please safeguard your belongings.

Photography and camera use conditions

Visitors are welcome to capture their special moments on camera or video while at the centre, as long as the privacy of other members and guests is respected. Use of cameras, video recorders, and smartphones in the facility is only permitted under the following conditions:

  • The privacy of others must be respected at all times.
  • You must have consent from all identifiable individuals before capturing or sharing images.
  • Cameras or recording devices are strictly prohibited in all change room areas.
  • Management reserves the right to request that patrons cease using photographic or videographic devices if it is deemed inappropriate.

Roller Skating Program - Rules and conditions

By entering and participating in roller skating sessions at Noarlunga Recreation Centre, you agree to the following:

Safety on the Skate Floor

  • Skate at your own risk – roller skating involves inherent risks such as falls, collisions, or injury.
  • Protective gear (helmets, wrist guards, knee/elbow pads) is encouraged.
  • No eating, drinking, or chewing gum on the court/rink floor.
  • Skating is permitted only in designated areas. No skating in foyers, corridors, or outside.
  • No pushing, shoving, tripping, piggybacks, carrying others, or single-foot spins.
  • No mobile phones or loose items (bags, hats, caps) while skating.
  • Skaters must follow the speed, direction, and instructions given by staff at all times.

General Rules

  • Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket or pass.
  • Children under 12 must be actively supervised by a parent/guardian.
  • Respect others - Offensive language, bullying, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Doorways and exits must be kept clear.
  • Only skaters are allowed on the rink surface.
  • Always follow staff directions. Failure to do so may result in removal from the session.

Equipment

  • Personal skates must be clean and in good condition.
  • All hire skates must be returned at the end of the session.

Session Rules

  • The “Adults-Only” session is reserved for experienced skaters.
  • Skaters must follow the flow of skating as directed (no skating against traffic).
  • Tricks, jumps, or spins are not permitted

Liability and Responsibility

  • Skating is undertaken at your own risk. Noarlunga Recreation Centre is not responsible for injuries that arise from the inherent risks of roller skating.
  • Noarlunga Recreation Centre takes all reasonable steps to provide a safe environment but accepts no liability for injuries, loss, or damage caused by unsafe or irresponsible behaviour.
  • Noarlunga Recreation Centre is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
