In a group session with a library staff member, learn how to scan Photos, Documents, Film and Slides to digital. The session with a library staff member will teach you how to use the station, using examples of media. Customers will not get an opportunity to scan their own media during the training. This session will introduce you to Epson Perfection V850 Pro Scanner and will familiarise you with the physical set up and functioning of the station.
The following formats can be digitised using the station's Epson Perfection V850 Pro Scanner:
- Photographs
- Documents
- Film (positive, colour negative, B&W negative) - Medium format film, 4 x 5 inch film, 35mm film strips, oversized film of up to 8 x 10 inches.
- Slides - 35mm slides
Please bring with you:
- Any questions you may already have about how the station works.
- If you would like to take any notes, please bring your own paper and pen.
The aim of this training session is to teach customers so that they can book in for a self service session to complete their own scanning.
This session caters for a group of up to five customers. If you feel you may require more personalised training and that the group training format is not going to benefit you, please consider a 1:1 training session instead.
The station can be booked outside this training session for those confident enough to use the station self-guided. Self guided sessions require a library membership for bookings. You can sign up for a digital library membership here.
