The City of Onkaparinga holds four Australia Day Breakfast events annually across the city, and are traditionally delivered in partnership with local community groups under an agreement with Council.
Council is now calling for Expression of Interests for the next two years (2027-2028) from local community groups, sporting clubs, and volunteer organisations to deliver a City of Onkaparinga Australia Day Breakfast Event in a central location and an additional location proposed by the successful group.

Council provides funding to support the groups to host and deliver these events. Hosts may also request a voluntary gold coin donation on the day.
