This program seeks to nurture and support young emerging artists within the City of Onkaparinga to present artwork in an exhibition for the 2026 SALA Festival. This program is in it's 7th year and has supported more than 20 young artists to exhibit their artwork and develop their practice in this time.

SALA Festival, or South Australian Living Artists Festival, is an open access arts festival that celebrates artists across all of South Australia during the month of August. SALA continues to grow more each year and we are excited for our young artists to be a part of it. 

For this year’s art mentorship theme, artists have been asked to pick what they see as the most important issue young people are facing in Australia today and reflect this in their artwork.
