Free boat launching will commence at O’Sullivan Beach boat ramp from 1 November 2025 thanks to a harmful algal bloom response partnership between the City of Onkaparinga and the state government.
This gorgeous reserve is not visible from the Esplanade, but when you stop at Thomas Street and get out of the car and look down, the view is absolutely stunning. A beautiful location for a wedding which will provide the bride and groom with some lovely photographs to remember their special day, or a nice quiet spot to stop for lunch and enjoy the view.
Bookings can be made for wedding ceremonies (130 people max.) and casual gatherings (over 70 people).
If gate access is required for one vehicle to bring elderly guests from the Esplanade down to the reserve, the Permit Holder is to collect a ‘416 key’ from Council’s Field Operations Centre (FOC), located at Railway Terrace, Seaford Meadows, Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 3:00pm, and is to return the key upon conclusion of Term.
