Our region is home to many talented and creative people, with one of the highest concentrations of artists per capita in South Australia.
We have two main arts venues within our Port Noarlunga Arts Precinct - the Arts Centre and Sauerbier House.
Galleries, studios, exhibitions, theatres, concerts, performing groups and festivals are an important element of our regions artistic and cultural life.
The Port Noarlunga Arts Precinct provides a central and vibrant hub for experiencing and generating creativity and expression.
The Arts Centre is a flexible arts space which includes galleries, performance space and studios available for hire and plays home to local arts, craft and theatrical groups.
Sauerbier House is a a creative centre programmed to support and foster contemporary art practice in the City of Onkaparinga. The kitchen facilities, river facing deck and surrounding grounds are available for private hire.
Our online store is now live!The Art Shop features local artists from the Onkaparinga region and showcases their paintings and prints, handmade jewellery, ceramics and wordwork, textiles and cards.

Expressway Arts is a join initiative between Carclew and City of Onkaparinga and aims to support young artists and creatives in the southern suburbs of Adelaide.

This scheme acknowledges the role that artists and local venues play in the cultural life of the city of Onkaparinga. Subsidies of $120 are available to assist individuals and groups with the cost of registering for the SALA Festival.
