A magical day!

An estimated 7000 people turned out on Saturday 26 November to greet Santa in his brand new sleigh complete with reindeers and gifts.

A record 81 entries created anticipation and excitement including ten bands and over 1700 participants.

The theme of ‘strong vibrant communities’ was evident with bold and colourful costumes, decorations and sound.

The return of live commentary was well received and proved a hot spot along the pageant route.

• Mayor’s Best Representation of the whole city – South Adelaide Football Club
• Best Entry – Australian Volunteer Coast Guard Flotilla 6
• Best Community Group – School for dogs Aldinga Bay
• Best Business Group – Fairies by the Seaside
• Best Band – Onkaparinga City Concert Band
• Best Dance Group – In Step School of Dance
• Best Costumed Group – Noarlunga Church of Christ
• Best Children’s Group – Port Noarlunga Sea Scouts
• Best School Group – Calvary Kindergarten
