Plastic pods
Put in the red/waste to landfill bin.
Compostable pods

Pods Certified Compostable in Australia (look for the seedling logo or Australian Standard AS 4736) may be able to go in your kerbside organics bin. Most can’t go in most home composts or green organics bins as they have plastic or metal components.
Ensure any plastic or aluminium foil has been removed.
Remember – if no logo, it doesn’t go in the organics bin.
Biodegradable pods
Biodegradable is not the same as compostable.
Put it in the red/waste to landfill bin.
Unless certified compostable, biodegradable plastic can leave micro toxic waste.
