Use of council land/road (with or without vehicles)

If you need access to council land or road with or without a vehicle, you will need a permit. Permits are available for a maximum of 3 days. If more than 3 days is needed, a licence will be required.

Please allow a minimum of 4 weeks processing time.

We aim to support all requests, however in some instances the proposed use of council land may not be deemed appropriate and therefore may not be approved.

Step 1.Before you begin

You will need to upload the following documents with your application:

  • Evidence of Public Liability Insurance to a minimum of $20 million from individual or company requiring the permit (your contractor may be able to provide this).
  • Site map that clearly indicates property boundaries and area of proposed activity.
