Former Bakery & Residence
Description
Built in 1866 by J Atkinson, the shop and attached residence was used as a bakery by the Atkinson family up until the 1960's. The building is constructed of stone and brick with galvanised roofing. The shop contains a large verandah fronting onto the High Street footpath with a decorative parapet. The building is an almost perfect streetscape example of a late nineteenth century store.
