PRE-REGISTER NOW FOR FREE TREES
We have 1,000 free native tubestock trees for Onkaparinga households, local community groups and small businesses to take away for planting within Onkaparinga. One ticket = one tree (you can register for up to four trees per household, group or small business).
By pre-registering, your trees will be guaranteed to be ready for collection between 1:30-2:30pm at the community tree giveaway day on Sunday 28 June at the Woodcroft Community Centre and Library. If you can't commit to collecting your tree at the event, please don't pre-register.
We'll allocate your species on the event day - we have an array of trees that grow from small to tall to suit a variety of gardens.
The trees are provided as tubestock, which gives them the best chance of thriving once planted - they are being grown by amazing Trees for Life volunteers using local remnant seed, so they’re well-suited for our region’s drier conditions - plus the legends at Arborgreen are also providing free tree guards and stakes for everyone on the day.
Can’t commit? No worries! Feel free to drop by and enjoy the event activities—we’ll be offering any leftover or uncollected trees to all attendees from 2:30-4pm.
