Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) projects

The City of Onkaparinga is delivering dozens of local road and community infrastructure projects across the region thanks to more than $13.5 million from the federal government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program.

Council received $2.46 million to deliver 23 projects through Phase 1 of the program (complete), $6.18 million to deliver an additional 28 projects through Phase 2 of the program (complete), and $4.9 million to deliver and additional 18 projects to be completed by 30 June 2023. The LRCI program was established to support local councils to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia, supporting jobs and the resilience of local economies to help communities bounce back from COVID-19.
