  • I’m doing a small yarn on the proposed boundary change with Marion Council at Hallett cove/Lonsdale. As far as I’m away it’s a fairly straightforward change due to a future development. Is council supportive of the change? Will it have any impact on current residents?

RESPONSE

Is council supportive of the change?
Council was recently informed that the Boundaries Commission has been notified by Hallett Cove Joint Venture (HCJV) of a potential publicly initiated council boundary change proposal.

At this stage, a formal response from Council is not required because we’re only being informed of the boundary amendment process proposal. Should the Commission receive a detailed submission from HCJV, this will be presented to Council for formal consideration.

Will it have any impact on current residents?
While Council is yet to formally consider a detailed submission on a council boundary change proposal, a realignment of the council boundary to Sigma Road, Lonsdale, is unlikely to impact any current City of Onkaparinga residents.
