  • Can I get the equivalent of this data for the latest available year. What was the mayoral allowance your council paid in 2021-22? What was the individual allowance paid to your elected members in 2021-22? What was the deputy mayor allowance?

Council member allowances are determined by the Remuneration Tribunal SA (RTSA) in accordance with section 76 of the Local Government Act 1999 and adjusted by CPI in November of each year.

  1. The current annual Mayoral allowance (as adjusted by CPI in November 2021) is $100,332
  1. The current annual standard Councillor allowance (as adjusted by CPI in November 2021) is $25,083
  1. The current Deputy Mayor allowance is (as adjusted by CPI in November 2021)  $31,354
