Response to The Advertiser.

I'm seeking all public land sales and land purchases by your council between the 2015/2016 and 2019/2020 financial years. The format I'm after is:

  • Address (including number, street address, suburb and postcode)
  • Land size
  • Brief description (former school, section of reserve etc)
  • Property type (residential, commercial, vacant land etc)
  • Date of transaction
  • Name of Buyer and or seller
  • Price

RESPONSE

The City of Onkaparinga has in recent years undertaken a detailed assessment of its land holdings through our Open Space Strategic Management Plan (OSSMP) and Community Facilities District Plans (CFDP). These strategic investigations and resultant plans have identified land considered surplus to requirements and possibly suitable for disposal in future years. Both the OSSMP and CFDP have involved extensive community consultation and support prior to their endorsement by Council.
