to 12:30 PM
Delivered by the Women's Legal Service SA, this youth financial literacy program supports young people to build confidence and practical skills around managing money. Through interactive discussions and activities, participants will explore attitudes and beliefs about money, learn the difference between needs and wants, and develop strategies for setting realistic financial goals. The program also encourages open conversations about money and provides a safe space to ask questions and share experiences.
Participants will also learn budgeting basics, including how to create, track, and review a budget, as well as explore different budgeting methods, tools, and apps that can support everyday money management. Information about where to access trusted financial advice and support services will also be provided, helping young people build long-term financial wellbeing and independence.
