Community planting day Serpentine Creek

Join us in planting local native seedlings along Serpentine Creek in Happy Valley to improve wildlife habitat and clean stormwater.

Help us plant a variety of native trees, shrubs, grasses and wildflowers along the Serpentine Creek. Find out you can help monitor the health of local creeks and improve habitat for wildlife.

  • Bring drinking water and gardening gloves
  • Wear weather appropriate clothing, a hat and sturdy shoes.
  • Friends and family are welcome - please register all participants.

What City of Onkaparinga will supply

  • Tools and equipment
  • Hand washing facilities
  • Toilet facilities are located in the reserve across the road

This activity is part of the Urban Creek Recovery Project – Panalatinga and Serpentine Creeks and is funded by the Australian Government’s Natural Heritage Trust under the Urban Rivers and Catchments Program, with the support of City of Onkaparinga.
