Response to The Advertiser.

• Just speaking to some concerned residents about some alleged dog bait found in Port Willunga at the beginning of the week 5/08. They said they reported it to the council and I was just wondering if anything had been found to be bait?

Council hasn’t received any recent reports of dog baiting in the area, but today our rangers visited the area and no further material was found.

Rangers also installed warning signs to let people know suspicious meat scraps had been found nearby, and reported the alleged baiting to SA Police and the RSPCA.

If anyone has any further information or witnesses similar activity anywhere across our region, we encourage them to report it as soon as possible to SAPOL, RSPCA and City of Onkaparinga.
