Why do I need Public Liability Insurance?

It is mandatory for any person wanting to conduct any activity on local government controlled land to have current public liability insurance to the minimum value specified.

Why do I need a permit for my banner?

To install any items on local government land, permission must be granted by council. 

What can I advertise?

Family friendly accessible not for profit events and activities.

How many banners can I have at 1 location?

One (1) banner at each site.

How many banners can I have across the city?

Up to six (6) banners in total.

What materials can be used to make my banner?

Corflute, fabric, vinyl

Will council help me install my banners?

No. You will need to supply your own materials. We suggest using star pickets/droppers, a rubber mallet and rope or cable ties for installation. 

Please make sure your remove all materials associated with the banner.

Remove banner and materials by the permit end date.
