Disability and inclusion

We provide group based recreation and social activities for adults with disabilities, offering informal opportunities for participants to develop their skills and interests. The program assists in developing personal and community networks. Program activities and outings are based on participant's interests.

Various programs and times are listed below.

The Disability Program offers group based community, social and recreational activities. One to one support is NOT provided. 

Eligibility criteria:

• aged between 18-65 years and living with a disability
• services to be accessed by participant's NDIS plan or at their own cost
• be a resident of the City of Onkaparinga 
• participants to bring a support worker with them if requiring personal care, medication administration, specialised meal time requirements, psychosocial or communication support .

Evening Event

An evening event at a local community venue based on participant's interests. This could include discos, games, significant public events.

Dinner Club

A Thursday evening dinner group where participants enjoy a meal together at a local venue once a month.

Day Program

The Day Program meets twice a month. Activities and outings are based on participant's interest and include sport, day trips, cooking, arts and crafts.

Shedtastics

A singing group for adults living with a disability.
Performance times & locations vary.

Aqua Movement

A 45 minute water exercise class for adults with a disability.

Disability walking group

Walking group meets weekly during school terms on Wednesdays, 1-2pm at the Noarlunga Bus/Train Interchange.

Shed Program

A program for adults living with a disability. Activities include upcycling, recycling, basic carpentry, mosaics, card and board games.

Regional Disability Network

People living with a disability, carers, and Service Providers come together to share experiences and network to achieve the best possible outcomes for people with a disability.

Everyday English

The program aims to assist students with limited English skills to improve the use of English with confidence in the community.

RRSF Spring Holiday Inclusive BMX

The Inclusive BMX Session offers young people of all abilities the chance to try BMX riding in a fun and supportive environment.

Term 4 RRSF Inclusive Skateboarding

Join the Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation's free Inclusive Skateboarding Program, open to young people aged 6-18 of all abilities!
