Paving the Way

Paving the Way is a series of Esplanade inlays that aim to strengthen community and connection to place. The clusters of ceramic inlays present three themes; people, food and nature. The artworks are a colourful modern take on mosaics which convey a story. The placement and theme of the artworks aim to encourage exploration and fun.

Description: A dog returns a stick for another game of fetch, who else wants to play?

Title: Take Away

Location: Opposite 13 Esplanade, Christies Beach
Description: A fish swims away from hot chips while seagulls eat them.

Title: Team Meeting

Location: Opposite 1 Esplanade, Christies Beach
Description: What is this? A meeting of locals with a newfound object.
