Blister packs

Drop off empty medicinal blister packs for recycling at any Blooms the Chemist, Chemist Warehouse or National Pharmacy stores – visit Pharmacycle for local drop-off locations

If not empty, take medications in original packaging if possible to any pharmacy for FREE, appropriate disposal as part of the RUM project (Return Unwanted Medicines). 

Recycling bin If all aluminium foil - wrap in with other left over foil and make into the fist size ball and place in the recycling bin.

OR

Waste to landfill bin Put it in the red/waste to landfill bin.


Medicine bottle / vitamin bottle

Recycling bin  Put it in the yellow/recycling bin. 

Remove lids from bottles. 


Spacers

Recycling bin  Put it in the yellow/recycling bin.


Turbuhaler

This CANNOT go in your household bins or to landfill.

As an empty Turbuhaler still has some medicine remaining inside, return it to your local chemist / pharmacy for disposal.
