Clarendon Pavilion and kitchen
The Clarendon Pavilion, nestled within the Clarendon Recreation Ground, features a charming undercover pavilion area that can be hired exclusively for your special gathering.
It is a fantastic spot to unwind and spend quality time with family and friends, whether you're hosting a BBQ or picnic, celebrating a birthday, baby shower, holding a small wedding ceremony, or any other low-key occasion. It’s also a great option for local community groups looking for a welcoming space.
The Pavilion can be booked solely, or you can also book the adjoining small kitchen, which includes an oven, bench with sink, kettle, and a fridge.
If you need a bit more room to spread out or want your guests to enjoy some games or recreational activities, the adjacent Clarendon Oval is also available for hire, subject to Council approval.
The Clarendon Recreation Ground has recently upgraded grounds and facilities and offers lovely views of the nearby River, along with easy access to the peaceful Riverbend Park and its beautiful surroundings. There is also a new children’s playground and carpark adjacent to the Pavilion.
