Merienda (Afternoon Tea) & Artist Talk with Alyssa and Louis

Join exhibiting artists in residence Alyssa Powell-Ascura and Louis Bullock for an engaging afternoon of conversation, snacks and connection!

Developed during their first duo residency at Sauerbier House, Sama-sama (meaning Together) is an exhibition of new works offering an interactive way to connect with one another. Presented across numerous spaces in the house (kitchen, foyer, Hallway Gallery and Wash house) this exhibition bridges visual art, sound and play. Learn about their residency journey, the Open Access Kitchen (OAK), and play the ‘Sama-sama conversation card game’ with one another.

We will also be sharing a light afternoon tea together, with a selection of drinks and Filipino baked goods available. Please note: you may bring a snack of your own choosing to share with the communal table if you wish!
