The Surf Art Exhibition marks the beginning of summer and has become one of the pivotal features of the annual program at the Arts Centre Port Noarlunga, carving a place in the hearts and souls of the southern arts calendar. The Exhibition displays works which celebrate the ocean and surfing culture, our stunning coastal environments and beach side lifestyle as key themes.
In 2025, the annual Surf Art Exhibition will offer a People’s Choice Award, to the value of $500.
The City of Onkaparinga’s annual Surf Art Exhibition is open to all Australian artists.

Surf Art Christmas Market

In 2025, the Surf Art Christmas Market will be presented for one day only, in conjunction with the annual Surf Art exhibition. The Surf Art Christmas Market will see local artists selling work directly to the public. There is no limit on the mediums of artworks to be included and sold.

- Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 15 November 2025

Attention Artists!! Get ready to spring clean your studios and sell any surplus artworks that you have hiding at home, under the bed, in the shed, or ones that just haven’t found their right owner yet.
The Spring Clean Art Sale is to be presented over 2 days in spring (Friday 24 and Saturday 25 October), providing a vehicle for artists to create some space for new works to emerge, while bringing in some extra income, all while seeing artworks find new homes.
Any medium of artwork can be included, (including, paintings, prints, sculptures, ceramics, photography or textiles), but it must be an original work, so no reproduction prints – this is for original artwork only, with all works priced to sell.
Participating artists can choose to sell their work/s directly to the public, or request that the Arts Centre take their work/s on consignment for sale.

The Arts Centre Port Noarlunga accepts Expressions of Interest for exhibitions to be presented in the Arts Centre galleries throughout the year.
Expressions of Interest are invited for the presentation of new work by artists working in any media.
Expressions of Interest are also invited from Curators, who may like to develop an exhibition of new work by artists working in any media.
Exhibitions spaces are available from February through until November each year, with all exhibitions generally being on display for 5 – 6 weeks.
Expressions of interest close at the end of September each year, when proposals are then reviewed for possible inclusion in the following year’s exhibition program.
