Tangari Regional Park

Tangari BMX jumps

Tangari Park contains approximately 60 hectares of natural vegetation and 65 hectares of open parklands.

The whole of the City of Onkaparinga region is within the area traditionally owned by the Kaurna people and Tangari Regional Park is no exception. The area occupied by the park and its surrounds was used by Europeans as agricultural land during the 1830s. Today, it is one of the few remaining large open spaces within metropolitan Adelaide that contains significant areas of remnant vegetation, high conservation plant species and a vast diversity of habitats, and is an ideal location for birdwatchers.
