Disabled parking requirements

Accessible and adequately spaced areas are informed by several legislative instruments and building codes, to ensure accommodation for all persons.

The National Construction Code (NCC)

The National Construction Code (NCC) is the primary source for technical design and the legislative standards for safety, health, amenity, accessibility and sustainability of buildings within Australia. As a performance-based code, it is frequently updated and maintained by the Australian Building Construction Codes Board (ABCB).
