Composting subsidies

Interested in composting at home? It’s easy to do, produces FREE fertiliser for your garden and helps the planet – all in one.

Composting produces useable compost, castings and liquid fertilisers which are very valuable for our soil and plants. These products add nutrients, microbial diversity and increases the water holding capacity of your soil. You will start seeing food scraps and garden waste not as rubbish but as a resource to be saved and used in your home compost systems.

We subsidise 50% off the purchase of a selection of composting systems including compost bins, worm farms and bokashi buckets. We also offer workshops on composting and bokashi during spring and autumn.

These can be ordered online or print a form for payment at any of our Customer Relations Offices. Please see below for more information.
