The Duke of Edinburgh International Award is now available to be delivered from home where young people can work toward their future, be supported by a mentor while focusing on being their best selves!

The Duke of Edinburgh is a leading and highly recognised youth development program, enabling and empowering young people to realise their full potential and build a brighter future.

  • Learn a skill
  • Improve your physical wellbeing
  • Volunteer in your community (even virtually)
  • Take on an adventurous journey within a team (eventually)

All participants are guided and supported by a network of trained award leaders, assessors, supervisors, and mentors.

You can do this from the comfort of your own home.

Duke of Edinburgh empowers participants to be…

#Future ready:
Secondary aged participants who complete the award gain 10 SACE points for Bronze at stage one and 10 SACE points in stage two for Silver.

#Work ready
A Duke of Edinburgh employer harnesses the value of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award into their recruitment which makes your resume and interview stand out.

Age:
Open to all young people aged 14-24.

Three levels:
Bronze, silver and gold, each progressively more challenging.

Four sections:
Physical recreation, Skill, Voluntary service, Adventurous journey (plus Gold Residential Project at gold level).

Key Requirements:
Achieving an award recognises individual goal setting and self-improvement through persistence and achievement. Supervised
by an award leader and activity assessor/mentor.

A challenging journey full of friends and fun, creating unforgettable memories along the way. Equipping and empowering you for whatever you decide to do with your life.

When:
Monday-Friday between 9-5pm with after hours availability by appointment.

Location:
Over the phone, email and online social media platforms such as Zoom, Facetime and Skype.

Cost: 
Should not be a barrier, we have many subsidies available to help you.
