Exhibition - 3 well known Australians - Noarlunga library

Noarlunga library will host a special touring interactive exhibition during September. Three well -known Australians painted by Sydney artist Martin Shaw will be on display at Noarlunga Library.

Martin painted this intriguing piece in 1982 and it has been travelling around Australia for 40 years. Visitors to the library are encouraged to view the painting and choose who they think each character represents. Everyone can add their own ideas to a visitors’ book which will join the travelling exhibition around the country.

On display will be past books with the guesses from previous stops on the painting’s tour of Australia. Over the years Martin has also received letters from a variety of Australians with their opinions on who is in this fascinating painting and some of these letters will also be on show.

Don’t miss your chance be a part of this fascinating exhibition before it heads off to its next stop around the country. This exhibition has been travelling around Australia for 40 years.
