Millions for Onkaparinga’s roads and community infrastructure

City of Onkaparinga has received more than $6.18 million in federal government funding to deliver local road and community infrastructure and create local jobs.

Council last month approved a list of 28 priority projects in 21 suburbs it would put the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCI) funding towards.

The list (see below) includes a $1.7 million reconstruction of aging courts at the Southern United Netball Association (SUNA), and a range of playground, trail, sport, recreation and community facility upgrades.
