Simply by buying local you can make a difference! Every dollar spent locally helps to rebuild our local economy, grow our local business community, ensure local people continue to be employed, and so much more!

How can you get involved?

How can local businesses get involved?

The City of Onkaparinga has developed a toolkit to help businesses get involved and spread the Go South Go Local message.

Visit the Go South Go Local website to access the toolkit, along with a guide to growing your local business and downloadable digital assets which you can use in your own marketing and promotion.

Go South Go Local campaign assets, both digital and printed, are free to be used by individuals, community groups, businesses and business associations only for purposes that align with the intent of the Go South Go Local campaign.

The intent of the campaign is to encourage residents to choose local products and services whenever possible, educate the community about the breadth and depth of goods and services available within the City of Onkaparinga, to build pride in the city, and empower businesses and business associations to localise the brand to maximum effect in a way that is relevant to their customers and local residents.

The core logos and suburb specific logos are not to be modified in any way.

Supporting taglines for each suburb or township may be created to ensure local relevance.

The City of Onkaparinga reserves the right to withdraw permission for an individual, community group, business or business association to use the brand if it deems the brand has been used in a way that does not align with the intent of the campaign, or is being used in such a way as to negatively impact the reputation of an individual, community group, business or business association, the Council or the entire Onkaparinga region.
