• I was hoping to get the final stats on the fundraising at the Bush Fair? Also, if it's possible to get a post-event comment from the Mayor that would be great as well.

This year’s Australia Day Bush Fair was a perfect example of the community coming together to lend a helping hand to those in need.

While attendance was down on previous years, attendees raised $2,566 through gold coin donations at the gate, and it was great to see a sea of smiling faces enjoying the free fun activities, a huge entertainment lineup, Aussie displays and food trucks.

I want to thank everyone that came out and made the day a success. When things get tough, Australians stick together, and together we donated $13,838 for those impacted by the unprecedented devastation caused by the recent bushfires.
