Comments can be attributed to Mark Dowd, CEO.
How was it found?
The missing lifebuoy was discovered floating 3.5 kilometres out to sea on Saturday by the South Australian Sea Rescue Squadron during a routine safety patrol.
Can you send me a couple of lines from the CEO about being happy it’s been found?
We were relieved to hear the missing safety device was recovered and I’d like to thank the community – and the Sea Rescue Squadron in particular – for their support in finding it.
These lifebuoys could save people’s lives in an emergency, so I’d urge anyone who witnesses someone removing or vandalising the devices to contact the police immediately.
